Nicole Soto-Ortega is a Miami native born into a Cuban and Puerto Rican family. Nicole obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. There after she obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from St. Thomas University, graduating Cum Laude and in the top 10% of her graduating class. Not only did she maintain her status on the Dean’s List every semester but she also received the CALI Book Award in Guardianship Law.

Nicole was a member of the St. Thomas Law Review as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor and was also the President of the Elder Law Society, she also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Maria M. Korvick, Circuit Court Judge in the Probate Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade.
